Langley is home to some stunning wineries, breweries and distilleries. These make for the perfect weekend trip to enjoy a drink in a beautiful setting and support local businesses.

Exclusive Tours International

If you’re after a whole package, Exclusive Tours international offers an organized wine tour around Langley and Vancouver. You’ll stop in at 5 wineries and breweries for a tasting experience. Your private guide will pick you up and drop you off.

Chaberton Estate Winery

One of the largest and oldest wineries in BC, you won’t be disappointed with the beautiful bistro and cellar that sits on a 50-acre vineyard. They are open daily and offer free public winery tours. If you’re after more than the wine you can stop for a bite to eat at their bistro serving up

French cuisine. Their picnic area can be enjoyed if you wish to bring your own food.

Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery

Stop into this unique winery for a tasting or to treat yourself to their Artisan range of goods. From January to May, the Estate Winery is open Fridays to Sundays 930-430. You can have a tasting of their range and purchase by the bottle. The Porch is open 7 days a week 930-430 January to May for purchases of all their products that are normally found in the Market. These homemade goods include pies, frozen berries, preserves, freshly ground peanut butter, syrups, meals and ice cream. You’ll be spoilt for choice with their high-quality farm products. They have a fresh hot waffle bar to indulge in which is open on the weekend.

Glass House Estate Winery

Glass House estate winery is a boutique family-run winery set in the south of Langley. They produce a high quality of wine, with hand-selected grapes, a single vineyard and a low yield. Their carefully crafted wines are a delight and can be enjoyed at the winery or taken home. The Glasshouse estate sits on the Campbell Valley Wine Route.

Dead Frog Brewery

If you’ve had enough of the wineries or prefer craft beer, Dead Frog Brewery should be your weekend destination of choice. They are a small batch craft brewery in Fraser Valley established in 2007. Their range includes more than 15 taps of fresh craft beer and a food menu with locally sourced, house-made eats. They believe in creativity and innovation when crafting their brews.

Festina Lente Estate Winery

If you’re after a unique experience Festina Lente Estate Winery produces premium honey wines (Mead). They’ve been upgraded from a traditional tasting Mead to a more modern and sophisticated flavour. The family-run farm is set on beautiful 5 acres for you to enjoy while tasting their specialty honey wines.

Roots and Wings Distillery

The charming family-owned micro-distillery is located in the middle of Fraser Valley near Fort langley. They have a unique range of distilled spirits crafted in their brewery, made with products straight from their farm. Their collection of farm-to-table spirits includes vodka, whiskey, and gin which can be tasted straight or in a cocktail. They have a specialty tasting room to indulge in these spirits and purchase the favourites.

Fraser Valley Cider Company

Indulge in small-batch cider at Fraser valley cidery. Their brewery is farm-based and offers a small tasting room so you can enjoy a range of fresh ciders. You can enjoy the orchard while you sip on cider. Little ones and furry friends are welcome to soak up the farm life too.

Farms & Parks

Driediger Farms

With tasty fresh produce on offer, Driediger Farms is hard to resist. They have been providing the BC area with Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries and RedCurrants since the 1960s. While they have been in a growth phase in recent years they still provide the local community with the freshest berries, through marketed and from their fields. They are located in Langley just 5 minutes from Highway 1 making it an easy stop when heading in or out of town.

Happy Herd Animal Sanctuary

Happy Herd Animal Sanctuary is an official Canadian charity that rescues farm life that have been abused or abandoned. Set on 4 acres you’ll see many animals roaming happily and free. goats, chickens, cows, pigs, turkeys, hens, ducks, cats, a couple of dogs, and a wonderful friendly donkey can be spotted. You can either choose to do some volunteer work or book a small private tour paid for by donation. This is a great adventure for animal lovers and the whole family to enjoy.

Campbell Valley Regional Park

The Campbell Valley Regional Park is a great weekend outing for the whole family to enjoy. It’s one of the largest parks in Langley and is also home to the Campbell Valley Downs Equestrian Centre and the historic Langley Speedway. The large park is set in farmland and has an extensive network of trails for walking, horse riding and exploring. In the 29km of trails, you’ll find the perfect spots for picnicking, birdwatching or taking your furry friend for a walk or ride. While the park is large it has easy terrain making it great for any age.

Derby Reach Regional Park

Derby Reach Regional Park is located on the banks of the Fraser river making for a spectacular backdrop. The park has mountain and river views and the trails are shaded by dense forest. Take a picnic to enjoy one of their picnic areas or stop by one of the historic buildings that are on the trails. Heritage apple trees line the park along with other pioneer reminders making it a special place for a weekend trip.
