Langley has some great golf courses on offer which cater from beginner to expert level. Whether golf is something you’ve always wanted to try, or you’re ready to find a new green to play on; it’s time to get the golf clubs out and explore these Golf courses in Langley. 

The Redwoods Golf course

Set in the heart of Redwoods forest, the golf course here is accompanied by a stunning mountain view with lush forest surrounding the course. You’ll be able to take a breath of fresh air and feel away from it all at Redwoods. 

Their course is home to 18 holes upon immaculate grounds and a split-level property which means you can play on two levels. The team at Redwoods pride themselves on the upkeep of the grounds while making sure the setting remains natural and blends in with the environment. The staff are there to make sure your day is exceptional, they will welcome you to the first tee, be there on course to offer assistance and you’ll be invited into the lounge after the game to relax. 

If you’re not quite up for a whole game, there’s a practice green to sharpen up your skills and have some fun. Their practice facility has a 7,000 square foot putting green, a 5,500 square foot tiered chipping area with targets, a practice bunker, and a 26 stall covered driving range. The range area includes several heated stalls for those cold days of practice.

They have a whole range of golf activities for the little ones, whether they’re serious about being the next golf prodigy or just want to sharpen up their golf skills. They have a special deal on: kids play for free (under 12s) after 1 pm every day if accompanied by paying adults. There’s also a 4-day Redwoods camp that lets kids hone in on their golf skills, taught by CPGA professionals. The camp is for 4-14 year-olds and it’s run in 45-minute group lessons spread over the 4 days. 

During spring and fall, there are weekly sessions on offer and they have week-long camps available during the summer vacation. The programs are offered in 2 levels: Level One for Juniors ages 4-7, and Level Two for Juniors ages 8-14. The Juniors will learn all of the golfing basics from grip and swing, to golf course etiquette. 

Redwoods offers a full range of amenities including practice facilities with a covered driving range, lessons, golf shop, meeting and banquet facilities as well as a fully licensed restaurant. 

Newlands Golf & Country Club

Newlands Golf club is set on a well-kept green, with bush and forest surrounding. You’ll also find a well-respected restaurant & bar onsite to enjoy after the game. They have an 18-hole championship course that takes you right around their stunning grounds. The course will not only challenge you but has some of the most affordable golf rates in the area. You can make a booking online or over the phone. 

An 11 hole course is also on offer if you don’t wish to play the full round. The executive course is perfect for any age, junior or senior level. You’ll still get to experience the immaculate grounds at Newlands without playing a full 18 holes.  

They are frequent hosts to golf tournaments, with the 2 courses above to choose from. They have a suburb culinary team on-site to make sure you don’t go hungry afterwards. There are food and beverage packages to pick from and banquet rooms available to book. 

Langley Golf & Banquet Centre

The serene green at Langley Golf & Banquet centre was once a hobby farm, turned golf centre in 2005. The renovations made it home to an 18 hole golf course and banquet facility. The golf course is a par 3 course that is suitable for junior golfers wanting to improve or more experienced looking for a short game. The 18 hole course will take you right around the well-kept grounds with holes ranging in yardage from 105 to 202. There are some water features and sand hazards to keep you on your toes. 

A 2-storey driving range can also be found on-site which is perfect for putting the work in. The driving range has heated stalls so you can practise all year round. Once done with the golf you can pop into their Pro Shop or stop by the bistro. 

The friendly environment is perfect to stop in as a family and try your golf swing out. The course is family run which means huge pride is taken in the upkeep of the grounds and providing quality service in their bistro. 

Pagoda Ridge Golf Course

Pagoda Ridge has been many years in the making. In 1982 Lyall Brown wanted to build a unique golf course unlike anything else. He made a start on turning the 165 acres into a golf course, inspired by Asian architecture. 30 years later, in 2012 Pagoda Ridge opened and is now a well-known golf destination in BC. 

The 18 holes at Pagoda are set on bent grass green and fairways making it the driest and best condition course in the lower mainland. There are 40 bunkers and water hazards involved making it a challenging yet rewarding course. There is a mix of levels on the course with four par 5’s, four par 3’s and 10 unique par 4’s. You’ll be able to take in the stunning views of the valley as you make your way around their course.
