Marketing Your Listing

I have over a decade of experience doing extensive digital and physical marketing to ensure that your listing is targeted to reach potential buyers. I want to make sure that your home sells as fast as possible, for the best price. To do this, I utilize both the newest electronic programs, as well as some of the traditional, tried-and-true methods of advertisement. I will make sure to get your property information into the homes and offices of the people that matter most.

Marketing begins in the physical space, and so we start our marketing journey with professional staging, photography, videography, virtual tours, and floorplans. These beautiful assets provide our marketing team with everything they need to get your home in front of potential buyers.

Website: I have developed my website to effectively market my listings on the internet. At amybrattebo.ca, I receive hundreds of inquiries from buyers who are searching for information on homes. I take special care to diligently update the website several times every day. I have many different ways of driving traffic to my website, including “Homes and Land” magazine, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and of course the Multiple Listing Services (mls.ca and realtor.ca).

Virtual Tours: I utilize the most up to date technology and professional photographers to showcase your home and allow buyers the thing they want the most – video and photographs! Buyers have told me that they appreciate more photos so that they don’t waste their time (or yours) looking at properties that do not suit their needs.

Print Ads: I advertise in Homes and Land MagazineCanada’s Equine Guide,  BC Luxury Home Guide, and Gaitpost – high quality publications that feature pictures, prices and special features of my listings, where buyers looking for properties like yours can be found searching every day.Acreage & Equestrian Websites: I advertise appropriate properties in Re/Max Luxury Collection Magazine, and HorseProperties.net  each of which has a targeted demographic searching for properties just like yours.

Informative Emails: Every time I list a property or the listing information for our property changes, such as a price adjustment, I send an email to all the realtors in the RE/MAX Little Oak offices as well as the other real estate offices in the Fraser Valley. This way, your property stays at the top of their minds and they have the most up to date information about it.

MLS or “Multiple Listing Service”: This is the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board system that all realtors use to gain information on everything that is on the market at any given time. It includes up to 20 pictures of a given property plus all the vital stats. It is the most important network of information for realtors, sellers and buyers alike because it is totally comprehensive. The biggest disadvantage to “For Sale By Owners” is that their home is not part of this system, and therefore most serious buyers won’t even know your house is for sale. Because the assets shown on MLS are limited, potential buyers are invited to continue viewing the property on my website, where they will see more photos, video tours and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Social Media: my team has a robust Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube program. We put an ad spend behind every property to ensure that it is viewed by as many potential buyers as possible, with most properties’ virtual tours being visited by thousands of people (less of course if the property sells quickly, which does happen frequently).

My Personal Network: In my decade+ of experience assisting buyers and sellers with their acreages and equestrian properties, I’ve come to build up quite a database of properties that are not currently for sale, but that would be willing to sell. This means that I just might know of a chance to get you your ‘dream home’. Likewise, I always have multiple buyers looking for something just like what you are selling.

I’d love to discuss more with you about the best marketing program to get your home sold quickly. Please give me a call at 604.613.1684
