My Top 10 Favourite Wineries in Langley

The fall is a magical time here in Langley. We’re gifted with those sunny yet crisp days, the leaves turn wonderful shades of yellow, red, and gold, and everyone returns fresh from their summer holidays, ready to reconnect with their friends and family. And of course, this means that there is no shortage of wonderful fall activities!

One of my favourites? Visiting one of the many acclaimed local wineries around Langley. If you haven’t visited a Langley winery before, you’re in for a real treat. We have a large collection of incredible vineyards – meaning that for most of you, an afternoon trip to enjoy one of these wonders is just a short ride away.

Looking for some inspiration? Well thankfully as a longtime Langley resident, I have visited many of the local vineyards, and would love to share my favourites. So, without further ado, here is the list of My Top 10 Favourite Wineries in Langley:

1. The Fort Wine Co.

One of British Columbia’s premier fruit wineries, The Fort Wine Co. has been crafting beautiful blends since 2001, when it was founded by tugboat captain and cranberry farmer Wade Bauck. What began with a simple cranberry wine (naturally, being started by a cranberry farmer) has grown into a full portfolio of 11 different wines, all utilizing fresh, local fruit from farms across BC.

Visitors can book a full winery tour in advance, or just pop in their tasting room to try 3 wines for free! And if you’d like to sample the entire portfolio, it’s a mere $5. Paired with one of their bistro’s signature cheese plates, and you have a wonderful afternoon ahead.
